Grasses, Seagulls, and Surf in Jensen Beach, Florida
On a cold day in January it is good to think of walking barefoot in the sand along the ocean, seeing seagulls fly, and hearing grasses blowing in the warm ocean breeze. When I went to Jensen Beach a few years ago I walked through a "tree tunnel" (see last blog post) to get to the entrance of this beach. After walking under the canopy of tree branches that arched over the path, my view opened up to an expanse of the Atlantic Ocean with its waves crashing the coastline. The sand dunes were beautiful with grasses blowing in the wind. I took some color photos of the grasses and then made variations of them in black and white, some of them with a grainy look. Which look do you like better? You may comment on my blog post, in the guestbook, or on individual photos on my website.
